Other Things I'd LIke to Share: I'm married and have 2 grown children. My husband is due to retire in about 2½ years and I plan on our start traveling a couple months after that. I hope to travel around the U.S. and Canada, meeting hosties, roomies and friends for as long as we can afford the gas. Those who know me know that I love going on a road trip. The idea of living on a road trip is what my hubby and I look forward to. |

Other info you'd like to share: I love coffee, chocolate, and anchovies, although not necessarily combined. I like classic rock (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Blue Oyster Cult, etc.), classical music (especially Tchaikovsky), 50s and 60s oldies, and some current music. I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter books (Weeny Owls rock), and while I've seen the movies and love them, I'm still waiting for one that gets it right. I like drooling over particular actors (Adrian Paul, Orlando Bloom, Naveen Andrews, Josh Holloway) and hissing at ones I don't like (Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Clint Eastwood, Jim Carrey). I love the Lord of the Rings movies, think Liv Tyler was perfect as Arwen, and think those blond elves are incredibly worthy of drooling. While I don't care much for Johnny Depp, I do love the Pirates of the Caribbean. |

How many years hosting: Well, I first began hosting in '95, I think. I'm old and the mind has gone to pot. I stopped hosting for a while because I was very burned out. I started up hosting again in '03 or '04 because we were losing nooner games.
Occupation: Domestic Goddess...retired. Heck, I figured if hubby can retire at 51, so can I!
Other things you might wanna know, but if you didn't, tough: Been married almost 30 yrs. I have 2 brats: Steph, 24, who plays trivia when not working and Adam, 19, who just takes up space. I love to bowl. I've been bowling since I was 9 yrs old. Hubby & I commute between Dayton and Marathon, FL (Keys)...well, hubby does. I stay here in Dayton most of the time, he just about lives in Marathon to fish, which I do when I'm down there. I collect penguins, but I'm running out of room. And I LOVE listening to my XM satellite radio. It ROCKS! |

I got into being online (BBS & Compuserve ages ago :X ) with my handy dandy 1200 baud modem one of my neighbors gave me......decided to go with AOL when I finally had a local number and I started at Rosie Online way back when in '96.......the chats, games and people kept me hooked......and when I am not spending time with my partner of over 15 years, playing with our grandson, celebrating the Patriots, photographing, watching movies or reading, watching the Patriots, I am here playing with ebay a bit, or running trivia games (which is my favorite) here at the Zone..... For the record, the photo is from over 25 years ago....so you can see I have had the large Rat connection for some time......i still look pretty much the same although the fur is much much greyer :)
